I would like to introduce Helaine Fendelman & Associates, a fine arts, antiques and household personal property appraisal and sales firm. I, Mrs. Helaine Fendelman, have over 30 years of experience in the art and antiques field. I am a certified member and the past President of the Appraisers Association of America, Inc. I served under the Qualifications Board of the Appraisal Foundation, Washington, D.C. as a member of the Personal Property Criteria Task Force. I am currently an instructor at The Appraisal Insitute at NYU. My associates are internationally recognized expert appraisers.

Appraisals
HELAINE FENDELMAN & ASSOCIATES will handle appraisals for probate purposes, fine arts insurance coverage, equitable distribution, family division and donation or Internal Revenue Service evaluations. Experience
My international reputation is based upon many years of practical experience including extensive academic and personal study. Integrity, confidentiality and professionalism are keynotes of my business.
I am co-host of a PBS television affiliate program, "Treasures In Your Attic". I am a frequent guest appraiser on national television and radio.
Publications & Books
I write a feature column "What Is It... What Is It Worth?" for the Hearst monthly magazine, Country Living and am a syndicated columnist for Scripps Howard News Service.
My books include All About Appraising: The Definitive Appraisal Handbook; Price it Yourself, Treasures In Your Attic; Tramp Art A Folk Art Phenomenon; Silent Companions; Dummy Board Figures of the 17th Through 19th Centuries, and The Official Identificaion and Price Guides to American Folk Art and Holiday Collectibles. I have also served as a curator, a consultant and lecturer for museums and private organizations throughout the United States.
